This lovely ring was a remake of an engagement ring and two wedding bands. A remake from something that could be painful or negative, into a new beginning and something wonderful. We started with looking at different designs on Instagram for inspiration, unset the stones, and melted the platinum down.
The client loved the V shaped designs so we started with thinking about designs around that. Simple drawings on the back of napkins to get us started. Once the stone was unset, we were able to concretely look at some ways we could use the stone sizes to make a new design. The client asked for a half moon, so we had a CAD design made up to show her how it would look. She liked it and decided she preferred it to be all the way around.
From inspiration to final product, it's wonderful to see how it has evolved. It's a beautiful cluster and eternity band diamond ring that sparkles from all angles.
